The all-consuming Maw, Dekar's original concept which has been around almost since the beginning. Right now his dominant build is burst magical damage, which wasn't what I planned for him. I'd prefer he have at least the option of building attack, and putting his 25 souls to good use in becoming a monster like he used to. - Soul Harvest: No problems with this.
- Demon Fang: I prefer it being based on attack damage, but it still isn't seeing much use.
- Spirit Vessel: I really like this ability.
- Expel: Not a good name. While I hoped it would make picking up souls during laning more interesting, it hasn't. Right now, it's being used as a very very powerful stomp.
- Disjunction: It's fine for what it does, but it's not an ultimate. I might make this his E, and introduce a new ultimate which lets Maw become dangerous again. I may also change from activation/deactivation to a simpler "press R to activate for 3 seconds, press R again to add another 3 seconds, etc."
Maw gets kited too much if he tries to build for attack. Perhaps if Disjunction applied a static slow or chill to enemies whose spells he ignored, he would be able to turn fights around better. Thoughts?

I actually enjoy building Maw towards an attack build (Lothar's works well on him, especially when used with Fang). Interestingly enough, I find spell damage Maw to be ineffective.
Players just need to change their playstyle around when playing him. When playing as Maw, not everything is going to be a straight forward approach as it is with Rasputin or Kuku, and that's okay. Changing up how you approach an enemy, and from which direction, as well as building Rocket Boots or Greaves for the MS works just as well.
I actually feel like giving him another slow or gap closer would send him over the edge. Once he is within range though, his damage output is fine.

Well, I dunno 'bout you guys but I build attack as Maw and it can work out pretty well... when fighting squishy casters. Though you pretty much become a glass cannon. Perhaps Disjunction could give some.. "spirit slow" or something and the amount of slows he has slows (a little) units within X range? And as his soul count fades as does the power of the slow?
