- Games of RoW won't end until revive times eventually become high enough for a base to be attackable, usually 60+ seconds. But waiting is boring and it's something I'd like to minimise. But if I let players do anything meaningful while dead, it hinders the enemy team's ability to push, which I'd have to compensate for with more revive time.
- What is the optimal lane situation in RoW? Personally I like nothing better than pushing into an enemy tower and suppressing their regen, but it's possible I'd have to miss transient coin gold when retreating, whereas the tower gold will always be there later. Also tower pushing is very exposed, particularly with the new 68t paths. Is the optimal lane the DotA one, just outside one's tower without risk of being ganked (but possibly risking being pushed)?
If anyone has any thoughts about this stuff, feel free to voice them.

You could give people something separate to do when they're waiting for revival, like giving dead people a ghost to scout around with or something. Maybe even give the ability to possess a troop. Could help with the flow breaking aspect of revive times.
For the second point, I'd say it depends on the hero and the race you're playing. Elves generally are better when they're being pushed slightly but far enough away that their well still works, since the benefit of the well over the maso is that the well gives a more steady stream of regen/replen. Some heroes are just good at pushing though, and early tower gold helps the whole team while coins help just you. Sure, you'll probably get the tower at some point, but getting that money early is what gets your team momentum for more tower gold later.
Also, the new paths really seem to help the enemy more than anything else. It gives the pusher another avenue to poke from and it doesn't particularly help the defending team because the normal path lets your allies get behind the enemy while going the new route really doesn't give much advantage since the enemy have an easy escape right behind them. I suppose it does help people trying to escape to home base, but that is more situational.
